A man died after being shot overnight in North Toledo, police said.

Toledo police were dispatched to the 800 block of North Ontario Street at about 2:28 a.m. Saturday on a person shot, according to the Toledo Police Department.

Kiree Gray, 35, was treated at the scene for at least one gunshot wound and was transported to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, where he later died, police said. Mr. Gray was pronounced dead at 4 a.m., according to Lucas County Coroner Thomas Blomquist.

The coroner confirmed the cause of death to be a gunshot wound to the right arm, and the death was ruled a homicide.

No arrests were made, and police have opened an investigation.
