Seven people were charged for their roles in a brawl Monday evening outside of a downtown Toledo apartment building.
Around 6:45 p.m., crews responded to the 500 block of Jefferson Avenue to investigate a report of a fight outside the Commodore Perry Apartments. Crews found a group of people fighting and ended up charging seven of them with a combination of riot and disorderly conduct.
Three people suffered minor injuries and were taken to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, where they were treated and later released.
Casey N. Green, 30, Chad R. Green, 34, and Kirk L. Green, II, 35, all of Royal Oak Drive, Springfield Township, were charged with riot, a first-degree misdemeanor. Also charged with riot were Calvin D. Carr, 21, and Zania L. Carr, 19, both of North Cove Boulevard, Toledo, and Andreia S. Carr, 44, of Jefferson Avenue, Toledo.
Marcus A. Rivers, 32, of Danberry Street, Toledo, was charged with disorderly conduct, also a first-degree misdemeanor. All seven individuals were arraigned Tuesday morning and released on their own recognizance.
