President Trump will make a campaign stop in Toledo early next year, according to a campaign news release.
He is slated to appear at 7 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Huntington Center, according to Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. This will be the president’s first campaign rally of 2020.
"Ohio is booming thanks to President Trump and jobs are coming back to the state,” Michael Glassner, Chief Operating Officer of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., said in the news release.
“President Trump is delivering on his promises, and he looks forward to celebrating those successes with the great men and women of Ohio."

Mark Wagoner, chairman of the Lucas County Republican Party, said the county party “is very excited to welcome President Trump to Toledo.”
‘The President recognizes that good things are happening for Republicans in Lucas County, and Lucas County recognizes that the country has grown stronger under President Trump’s leadership,” Mr. Wagoner said Monday evening. “We have record employment numbers, record highs in the stock market, and have re-established the United States’ leadership in the world.”
President Trump visited Toledo in July, September, and October of the 2016 campaign.
It’s not yet known if any Democratic candidates will appear in Toledo prior to the March 17 primary election.
