Toledo City Councilman John Hobbs III of District 1 plans to host a series of neighborhood meetings.

The first meeting is Thursday at the Eleanor Kahle Senior Center, 1315 Hillcrest Ave., with other meetings scheduled on Monday at Toledo Grace Brethren Church, 4533 Central Ave., and Wednesday at Monroe Street United Methodist Church, 3613 Monroe St. 

The hourlong meetings begin at 6 p.m. In all, 12 meetings are scheduled throughout March.

District 1 is south and east of the University of Toledo. A map of council districts is at toledo.oh.gov.
