Sylvania Township announced details for its Christmas tree drop-off location for those who live in the township
Starting Monday, the drop-off site is at the southwest corner of the parking lot at the administration building, 4927 Holland-Sylvania Rd, the township announced on its website.
People are asked to place their Christmas trees inside the orange fence area and remove plastic bags, all decorations, tinsel, and lights.
The drop-off site is to remain in place through Feb. 1.
Sylvania Township said that does not provide a Christmas tree curbside pickup service.
The city of Toledo, recently announced the Monday start of its Christmas tree recycling program starting Monday through Jan. 28.
The following locations, the city announced, will be open for drop-off from sunrise to sunset: Jermain Park 1720 S. Cove Blvd.; Detwiler Park, 3775 E. Manhattan Blvd.; Schneider Park, 2698 Schneider Rd.; Ravine II Park, 1699 S. Ravine Pkwy.; Bowman Park 4793 Jackman Rd.
Christmas trees must be cleared of decorations, bags or any other materials for recycling.
