The City of Northwood will hold its first-ever tree lighting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the new community center at 3700 Main St.

There will be photos with Santa Claus and performances by the Northwood High School Choir and NYE Dance Productions. Make an ornament and try a beverage or baked good by the Northwood Fire Ladies Auxiliary, Northwood Community Cares, and Hirzel Farms.

This event is free and open to the public.
