The Secor Road bridge over Ottawa River reopened ahead of schedule on Tuesday evening when vehicles were seen traveling across it.
Earlier in the day, the Toledo Transportation Department previewed that one lane each way would reopen.
Secor’s bridge over the Ottawa River, which is on Toledo’s border with Ottawa Hills and is between Valleston Parkway and West Towerview Boulevard near the University of Toledo, first closed Jan. 3.

Its replacement was a joint project between the village of Ottawa Hills and the city of Toledo.
The $3,151,994.69 contract held by Mosser Construction for the project also included building new sidewalks and approach pavement.
