Lucas County Engineer's Office to host 2nd roundabout training

The Lucas County Engineer’s Office is hosting its second roundabout training session on July 22 at Timberstone Junior High School in Sylvania.

The training aims to provide drivers with practical experience in navigating roundabouts and features a 20-25 minute driving route with an instructor from Toledo Driving Schools. The initiative is part of an ongoing effort to improve public knowledge about navigating roundabouts.

Feedback from last year’s event, which featured a simulated roundabout set up in a parking lot, indicated a strong preference for real-world practice.

During the training, participants will be guided through seven roundabouts and receive additional instruction in various traffic scenarios.

Space is limited, and participants must register in advance for the 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. session. Go online to lucascountyengineer.org/roundabouttraining or by call at 419-213-2855.
