Health department announces roundabout training sessions

The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department’s Traffic Safety Program will host a pair of roundabout training events for local drivers.

Also sponsored by the Lucas County Engineer’s Office, the city of Toledo, and Toledo Driving Schools, the first session will be March 24 at Willys Park. The second one will be April 10 at Ottawa Park.

Each session will take 20 to 30 minutes. Instructors will provide guidance on yielding, lane selection, and pedestrian right-of-way in an effort to teach students how to navigate roundabouts safely and efficiently.
