Hospice of Northwest Ohio is building its volunteer team throughout the area.

Those willing to visit patients in their homes or at nursing homes are needed throughout Wood, Lucas, Fulton, Henry, Ottawa, and Monroe counties. The volunteers will have the opportunity to work closely with hospice staff to improve the quality of life for patients and families through a variety of tasks.

Free training is provided to volunteers who will offer companionship for patients and respite for caregivers.
