ProMedica Toledo Hospital has been ranked the number one hospital in the Toledo area as part of the U.S. News & World Report’s 2022-2023 “Best Hospitals” report.

The announcement on Tuesday marks the third consecutive year that the publication has ranked ProMedica Toledo Hospital best hospital in the Toledo area.

According to information from the hospital, the rankings combine the collective services provided by ProMedica Toledo Hospital, ProMedica Flower Hospital, ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital, and the ProMedica Wildwood Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital. 

“It is an honor to be recognized as the best hospital in the Toledo area for a third year in a row,” Dawn Buskey, president of ProMedica acute care, said in a statement.

Nearly 5,000 hospitals nationwide across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions are evaluated to determine the ranking, the hospital said.
