Seneca County to get FAA grant for upgrades

TIFFIN — The Seneca County Airport will receive $229,364 from the Federal Aviation Administration to rehabilitate the apron and runway at the airport.

U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D., Ohio) announced the federal grant for the airport outside Tiffin as well as a $152,637 FAA grant for the Findlay Airport.

The money will be used to rehabilitate the runway and pavement as well install guidance signage at the city-owned airport.
