University of Toledo junior receiver Diontae Johnson was named Mid-American Conference West Division offensive player of the week Monday for his performance in the Rockets’ 49-24 loss Saturday to No. 21 Miami.
Johnson recorded six catches for 119 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He scored on plays of 7 and 40 yards.

The game was Johnson’s seventh game with 100-plus receiving yards and his fifth with multiple touchdown receptions.
