Over­time goal lifts Fal­cons to road vic­tory

MANKATO, Minn. — Connor Ford scored a power-play goal at the 3:15 mark of overtime to give the Bowling Green State University hockey team a 3-2 victory on Friday over Minnesota State.

The Falcons (4-3-1, 2-1-1 WCHA) rallied from an early 2-0 deficit, tying the game at 5:02 of the second period on Cameron Wright’s goal.

Alec Rauhauser also scored for Bowling Green, while Brandon Kruse had two assists. Eric Dop recorded 31 saves for the Falcons.

The teams return to the ice for a 7:07 p.m. contest Saturday at Minnesota State.
