MINNEAPOLIS — The Bowling Green State University football team pulled off a huge upset in a 14-10 win at Minnesota on Saturday at Huntington Bank Stadium. Coming into the game as 30-plus point underdogs, the Falcons shocked their Big Ten foe on their homecoming weekend.

Here is a closer look at some of the numbers that stood out from the stunning upset:

21: Minnesota had won 21 straight non-conference games before BG broke the streak Saturday. It was the longest such streak in the country heading into Saturday. The last non-conference loss for the Gophers was Sept. 3, 2015, against Texas Christian.

30.5: Minnesota was favored by 30.5 points in this game.

2: Rushing touchdowns for BG quarterback Matt McDonald who scored on runs of 1 and 3 yards. He was also 19 of 35 passing for 170 yards and one interception.

77: The yardage of one of Matt Naranjo's eight punts in the game. He averaged 44.1 yards per punt and pinned two punts inside the 20-yard line.

5: Number of completions for Minnesota starting quarterback Tanner Morgan. Morgan finished the game 5 of 13 for just 59 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

2: Sacks for Bowling Green senior cornerback Davon Ferguson. The Falcons had four sacks in the game.

0.9: Yards per carry for the Bowling Green rushing attack. The Falcons ran the ball 25 times for 22 yards.
