Bowling Green hockey battles to double OT tie with Northern Michigan

MARQUETTE, Mich. — Bowling Green State University’s T.J. Lloyd scored at the 13-minute mark in the third period to even up the game at three apiece with Northern Michigan University at the Berry Events Center on Saturday night.

After two scoreless overtime periods, that would be how it would finish.

Other goal scorers for the Falcons (7-4) were Sam Craggs and Spencer Schneider — both in the second period.

Goalie Christian Stoever made 31 saves for BGSU.

After losing 6-3 the night before to the Wildcats (8-6), the Falcons will look to get back in the win column against Ferris State on Dec. 10.
