Bowling Green men's basketball signs forward Felt

BOWLING GREEN — The second incoming freshman to the Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team has signed on the line.

BGSU announced Tuesday evening forward Jamai Felt has signed his National Letter of Intent and will join the program in the fall.

"Jamai is an ultra-athletic and skilled forward who is loaded with upside," Falcons coach Michael Huger said. “Jamai will be a mismatch nightmare for our opponents at the forward position. Jamai will be a terrific addition to our program on and off the court. His best basketball is still ahead of him, and we can't wait to unlock all his skills and potential."

Felt, who comes from Boston and played at Our Saviour Lutheran in Bronx, N.Y., joins three-star point guard Willie Lightfoot in the Falcons’ 2022 class. The 6-foot-9 Felt averaged a tick over 22 points, with 15 rebounds and four blocks per game in his senior season.

"I chose BGSU because of the great energy around the program,” Felt said. “I noticed it as soon as I walked on campus from the coaches, staff, administrators, and entire athletic department at Bowling Green. It felt like somewhere I could be the best version of myself."
