BOWLING GREEN — Daeqwon Plowden will have to wait a bit longer to find out his next step in professional basketball.
The former Bowling Green State University star forward went undrafted after 58 selections were made in Thursday’s NBA draft.
Plowden worked out for three teams — Washington, New Orleans, and Utah. His most recent workout came on Friday with the Wizards.
The 6-foot-6 Philadelphia native etched his name in the record books in never missing a game in five seasons for BGSU. Plowden is the only Falcon to accumulate at least 1,200 points, 800 rebounds, and 100 blocked shots in his career. He finished with 1,618 points (eighth in program history), 935 rebounds (fourth), and 126 blocks (fourth) in his career.
He posted a career-high 15.7 points and grabbed 6.8 rebounds per game last season, in earning third-team All-Mid-American Conference and All-MAC defensive team accolades.
Check back for updates.
