BOWLING GREEN — Division III forward Payton Moore has signed her National Letter of Intent to join the Bowling Green State University women’s basketball program for the 2022-23 season.
The 6-foot-1 Moore arrives after playing four years at D-III Anderson University in Indiana. She joins transfer Allison Day and freshman Jasmine Fearne as offseason additions to Robyn Fralick’s team.
"We are so excited about Payton joining our program," Fralick said. "She has a lot of experience and production in her collegiate career. She will be a great fit on and off the court."
Moore averaged 15.7 points and 10.7 rebounds, and she recorded a double-double in 12 of Anderson’s 27 games played last season. She was the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive player of the year.
The Spiceland, Ind., native led the conference in rebounds and blocked shots while finishing 11th in all of Division III in defensive rebounds per game with 8.7. She finished fifth in the HCAC in scoring and was second in field goal percentage at 47.5 percent.
Moore totaled 1,113 points and 701 rebounds while shooting 46.7 percent from the field in four years at Anderson.
