BOWLING GREEN — For the third straight season, Bowling Green State University’s football team became bowl eligible with six wins after the Falcons defeated Western Michigan on Tuesday night at Doyt Perry Stadium.

Selected media outlets are projecting the Falcons to play in the following bowl games:

■ CBS Sports: Arizona Bowl, Dec. 28 in Tucson.

■ Action Network: Boca Raton Bowl, Dec. 18 in Boca Raton, Fla.

BGSU has a 5-10 record in bowl games. The Falcons’ last victory came in the 2014 Camellia Bowl against South Alabama.
