Perrysburg’s Luke Borer drew plenty of attention last week for hitting a home run cycle. Now he’s got the attention of the Cleveland Indians.
A quick recap: On April 15 against Anthony Wayne, Perrysburg earned a 22-14 win. One of the highlights was Borer’s home run cycle, in which he hit a solo, two-run, three-run, and a grand slam.
Cleveland Indians outfielder Leonys Martin caught wind of Borer’s accomplishment and tweeted at him on Tuesday, inviting him to a game and to watch the team take batting practice sometime this summer.
Borer quickly accepted the invitation, tweeting back:
@leonys27martin I would be honored to come watch batting practice. You can message me on this account to work out the details. Thank you so much for the invite!

It's not surprising that a Major League Baseball player has taken notice of the accomplishment — no home run cycle has occurred in the history of MLB.
Even more impressive is the fact that those four home runs were the first four of the junior’s high school career.
