Luke Manges and Matthew Watkins scored 17 points each as the Perrysburg boys basketball team topped Whitmer 83-66 on Tuesday at Perrysburg High School.
Kannon Klusmeyer added 14 points, and Austin Shultz had 10 points for the Yellow Jackets (4-0).
Antoine West paced Whitmer (2-2) with 17 points, Deric Jaynes added 14 points, and Tony Fisher, Jr., had 11 points.
ROGERS 66, MAUMEE VALLEY 58
At Rogers, the Rams got 19 points from Andre Clark, 16 from Pharrell House, and 12 from Mehki Smith in a victory over Maumee Valley.
Christian Majors led Maumee Valley with 19 points, Talon Kuhl added 17 points, and Amani Dickerson tallied 15 points.
CARDINAL STRITCH 48, SCOTT 42
At Scott, Owen Carter totaled 10 points as Cardinal Stritch (3-1) held off a late rally from the Bulldogs.
Scott outscored Stritch 17-10 in the fourth quarter but couldn’t complete the comeback.
Romel Hightower paced Scott (3-1) with 13 points.
TOLEDO CHRISTIAN 63, CLAY 55
Toledo Christian outscored host Clay 21-10 in the fourth quarter to pull out a nonconference victory.
Conye Gaston had 20 points, and Karter Koester scored 19 to lead Toledo Christian (4-1). Joseph O’Neil had 11 points.
Lucas Jeremy led Clay (0-5) with 12 points, while Ben Jones scored 11.
For the game, Toledo Christian made 12 of 15 free throws, while Clay made 4 of 6 attempts.
OAK HARBOR 52, WOODMORE 31
ELMORE — T.J. Hallett and Zach Clune each scored 13 to lead the Rockets to a nonconference victory over the Wildcats. Ethan Stokes scored 10 for Oak Harbor (4-1).
Aaron Miller led Woodmore (1-4) with 12 points.
JONES LEADERSHIP ACADEMY 56, BOWLING GREEN CHRISTIAN 49
Karron Anderson scored 24 points and Teontre Kizer added 10 points to carry Jones Leadership.
Ethan Weirich paced Bowling Green Christian with 17 points, and C.J. Nicholson chipped in with 15 points.
