PAULDING, Ohio — Top-seeded Central Catholic defeated No. 4 seed St. Marys Memorial 53-39 in the championship game of the Division II girls basketball district tournament Saturday at Paulding High School.
Jai’Lynne Hitt-Swartz scored 18 points for the Irish, who advance to face Columbus Bishop Hartley in a regional semifinal at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Mansfield Senior.

WAUSEON 72, ELMWOOD 58
At Anthony Wayne, Hayley Meyer led Wauseon with 25 points as the Indians outscored Elmwood 26-8 in the final quarter for a Division III district title.
Autumn Pelok and Marisa Seiler added 20 points each for Wauseon, which advances to face Ottawa-Glandorf in a regional semifinal at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lexington.
Brooklyn Thrash paced Elmwood with 27 points.
OTTAWA-GLANDORF 35, LIBERTY-BENTON 31
ELIDA, Ohio — Erin Kaufman had 21 points and nine rebounds as third-seeded Ottawa-Glandorf edged top-seeded Liberty-Benton in the final of the Division III Elida district.
Lauren Gerken scored 15 points for Liberty-Benton.

FOSTORIA — Kaylona Butler and Kendall Braden each scored 19 points as Toledo Christian won a Division IV district title.
The Eagles advance to face Columbus Grove in a regional semi at 6 p.m. Thursday at Elida.

GENOA, Ohio — Matt Watkins led a balanced Perrysburg attack with 16 points as the third-seeded Yellow Jackets won a Division I sectional final over No. 15 seed St. Francis de Sales.
Perrysburg (19-3) advances to face fifth-seeded Findlay, a 77-47 winner over No. 13 seed Anthony Wayne, in a district semifinal Thursday at Lake.
Noah Kuh paced St. Francis (4-19) with 15 points.

FOSTORIA — Kellen Leake scored 26 points for Southview (14-9), which faces top-seeded Lima Senior, a 109-35 winner over Waite, in a district semifinal Thursday at Lake.
Stone Edwards scored 17 points for Start (15-7).
