Three Toledo-area volleyball players have been named to All-Ohio teams by the Ohio High school Volleyball Coaches Association.
Senior outside hitter Kamryn Hunt of Northview made the Division I second team, while Liberty-Benton senior outside hitter Karis Willow was named to the Division II first team. Springfield junior opposite-side hitter Gretchen Sigman (Springfield) made the Division I third team.
Willow, a Penn State recruit, averaged 6.3 kills per set on .435 hitting this season to go with 3.9 digs. She wrapped up her Liberty-Benton career with a .419 hitting percentage, 1,377 kills, 833 digs, and 199 blocks.
Hunt, an Ohio University volleyball recruit, averaged 4.5 kills on .306 hitting along with 2.8 digs. She finished her career with a total of 1,254 kills, 755 digs, and 126 blocks. Last week, Hunt was named All-Region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Sigman, who is committed to the University of Cincinnati, was the Northern Lakes League player of the year. She averaged 5.3 kills on .410 hitting to go with 2.5 digs and 50 aces.
Avery Adamski (Perrysburg), Sydney Hires (Northview), and Natalie Kerchevall (Northview) received D-I all-Ohio honorable mention.
Keely Culler (Archbold) earned Division III honorable mention, while Brooklynn Downing (McComb) and Gabby Rodriguez (Hilltop) landed Division IV honorable mention.
