Jerry Easter II scored a school-record 51 points to lead host Emmanuel Christian to a 62-59 victory over Hudson Western Reserve Academy on Monday night in boys basketball action.
Easter made 10 2-pointers, nine 3-pointers, and 10 free throws in the game. He made eight of 10 free throws in the fourth quarter to help seal the win for the Warriors (16-3).
Damarius Owens paced Western Reserve (19-8) with 19 points, and Trey Autry added 15 points.

BLOOMDALE, Ohio — Kade Lentz poured in 30 points to lead Elmwood to a home win in a nonconference game.
Isaac Stoner paced Arcadia with 10 points.

OLD FORT, Ohio —Jenna Johnson scored 19 points and Amijah Poole added 10 points as Fostoria cruised to a nonconference win.
Addy Gillmor and Mackenzie Fortney had eight points each to lead Old Fort.

CAREY, Ohio — Riley Yost scored 10 points as Carey topped Elmwood in a nonleague game.
Aubrey Johnson led Elmwood (8-13) with five points.

At Toledo Christian, Kendall Braden led the Eagles with 18 points, Jordan Rosales made three 3-pointers on her way to 17 points, and Mackenzie Royal-Davis added 12 points.
Grace Pfau tallied 14 points for Miller City thanks to four 3-pointers.
