Race Kowalczyk put in 29 points to help St. John’s Jesuit earn its first Catholic High School League victory of the season, beating Warren (Mich.) De La Salle at home 74-63.

Jayden Jones tacked on 17 points and Ethan James 12 for the Titans (6-5, 1-4 CHSL).

Also in CHSL play, St. Francis suffered its first league loss with a 59-46 defeat against University of Detroit Jesuit. Jameson Heck notched 18 points and Allan Horton 12 points for the Knights (7-3, 2-1).

Rogers, looking to keep pace with league-leading Lima Senior in the City League, routed Bowsher 70-28 as Tray Booker had 16 points for the victorious Rams (11-2, 2-1 CL). Also, Delvon Stone, Jr., finished with 13 points and Demetrick Patterson added 10.

Scott improved to 4-8 overall and 1-3 in the City after a 54-48 win over Woodward. Gucci Pope notched 11 points for the victorious Bulldogs.

For Woodward (0-11, 0-3), Terrance Fletcher had 13 points while Daleon Wiley added 10.

A school record was tied in Woodmore’s 80-32 win over Danbury in the Sandusky Bay Conference River Division.

Brody Ish paced the winning Wildcats (3-6, 2-4 SBC River) with 33 points on 11 made 3-pointers. The 11 made treys tied Woodmore’s school record for a game.

Brady Thatcher chipped in 21 points and Carson Slates 14 for the Wildcats.
