■ Taylor Lewan is a man in love. Earlier this month, the fifth-year left tackle told SiriusXM College that he’s dating teammate and close friend Drew Dileo’s sister — and momentarily gave the Michigan football complex more of a TMZ feel and less of a Block “M” aura.

■ It’s never too early to get a jump on the future, and Michigan has done that this summer. Already, Rivals.com lists the Wolverines having six verbal commitments for the incoming freshman class of 2015, including 6-foot-5 wide receiver George Campbell of Tarpon Springs, Fla.

■ Defensive end Frank Clark and his Michigan defensive line speak the same language — with the key word being “money.” It’s a term of performance endearment, not just a fiscal vein.
