COLUMBUS — Ryan Watts, a four-star cornerback for the class of 2020, committed to Ohio State two weeks after de-committing from Oklahoma.
The Texas native is the 19th-best cornerback in the country, according to 247Sports. Watts visited OSU for the Miami of Ohio game and made his decision to de-commit one week later.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound defender is the 24th commit for the class of 2020, which ranks third nationally. The class is heavy on defensive backs — Watts is the fourth — but Ohio State could lose Jeffrey Okudah, Damon Arnette, and Shaun Wade after this season.

Watts chose Ohio State over offers from Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Penn State. He had 35 total offers.
