The Seattle Seahawks have signed former University of Toledo wide receiver Cody Thompson to their practice squad.
Thompson signed as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs, but was recently released from their practice squad before finding a new landing spot with the Seahawks.

Thompson made 12 catches for 108 yards for the Chiefs in the preseason. The Chiefs signed punter Jack Fox to their practice squad Monday, and with two other receivers on the practice squad, Thompson was released.

At Toledo, Thompson finished his career with 181 catches for 3,312 yards and a UT school-record 30 touchdown receptions.
