UT women's soccer loses in first game at on-campus stadium

The University of Toledo women's soccer team opened up a new on-campus stadium with the inaugural game at Paul Hotmer Field on Thursday night as the Rockets fell 1-0 to UIC.

UIC's Emma Main scored the only goal of the game midway through the opening half with a long tally from close to 35 yards out that beat UT redshirt freshman goalkeeper Adrianna Brewer.

In Brewer's third start of her career, she recorded four saves in her 90 minutes of action.
