Notre Dame graduate transfer linebacker Jonathan Jones has decided to play for the University of Toledo.

The South Bend Tribune first reported the news, and Toledo confirmed Jones is enrolled in classes and officially on the team. 

As a graduate transfer, Jones is eligible to play immediately for Toledo during the 2020 season.

In his three seasons on the field with the Fighting Irish, with most of his action coming on special teams, Jones recorded 16 total tackles and two tackles for a loss.

Out of Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, Florida, Jones was a three-star recruit before committing to Notre Dame.
