Friday was twice as nice for the Toledo football program, as the Rockets landed two recruits to their 2021 class.

The two commits happen to be teammates at Cass Tech in Detroit and played on the same defensive line. Defensive end Clarence Wilson and defensive tackle Doran Ray are both three-star recruits, according to 247Sports.

Ray is the 37th-ranked player in the state of Michigan, while Wilson is 39th.

Ray and Wilson bring the Toledo class of 2021 up to seven commits, and their commitments help vault the Rockets into the top spot in the 247Sports Mid-American Conference rankings.
