University of Toledo senior guard Spencer Littleson put his long-distance shooting skills on display at the 2021 College Slam Dunk and 3-point Championships in Indianapolis on Thursday night.
In the first round of the 3-point shootout, Littleson scored an 18, behind only Akron's Loren Cristian Jackson, who scored a 21. Littleson’s first-round score was good enough to advance to the semifinals.

In the semifinals, Littleson again scored an 18, but that was the low score of the four-man round, so he did not advance.
"Traveling to Indianapolis and participating in the 3-point championships was definitely a good opportunity and really fun," Littleson said. "It was great to meet people from other schools. It was nice to get a chance to know them off the court, because we don't get to do that much during our season."
Jackson scored 22 in the semifinal and went on to win the competition with a score of 20 in the finals.
Littleson didn't go home empty-handed, though. Teamed with Montana State's Tori Martell and St. Francis Brooklyn's Unique McLean, Littleson won the team shootout. During that competition, Littleson drained a half-court shot on his first attempt.
This season, Littleson led the nation with 103 made 3-pointers and was second in the nation among qualified shooters with a 47.3-percent clip from beyond the arc.
