The Toledo men’s basketball team has landed transfer Dante Maddox Jr.
Maddox, a 6-foot-2 guard, played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Cal State Fullerton. This past season for the Titans, he made 11 starts and averaged 6.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 0.9 steals per game. Maddox shot 42.3 percent from the field and 15-for-60 (25 percent) from 3-point range.

As a freshman two years ago, Maddox averaged 11.9 points.

He received several offers from mid-major programs, including Toledo, out of high school. He was ranked the No. 3 shooting guard in his home state by Prep Hoops Illinois.
