Four-star WR commits to Toledo football

The University of Toledo has pulled off another recruiting coup.

On Tuesday, the Rockets secured a commitment from four-star wide receiver Kamren Flowers.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound West Bloomfield, Mich., native picked UT over offers from Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Miami (Fla.), Arizona State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Indiana, Kansas, and Iowa State, among others. He’s ranked as the No. 48 wide receiver in the country and the sixth-best player in the state of Michigan.

Last season, Flowers had 14 touchdowns and 1,066 all-purpose yards. He averaged more than 17 yards per reception.

Flowers — nicknamed Ferrari for his blazing speed — is the 16th commitment in UT’s acclaimed 2025 recruiting class. He has been clocked at 4.38 in the 40 and 10.6 in the 100-meter dash.

According to 247 Composite scoring, Flowers is the third-best UT recruit of the internet recruiting service era, which dates back to 2000. His 0.8900 score trails only wide receiver James Green (Class of 2009, 0.9188) and wide receiver Corey Jones (Class of 2012, 0.8930).
