Every active player scored for the University of Toledo women’s basketball team in its dominant 114-30 victory over Defiance College (NAIA) on Saturday at Savage Arena.
The Rockets jumped on the Yellow Jackets early, building a 36-10 advantage by the end of the first quarter, and only allowed 20 more points from Defiance the rest of the way. Toledo, which improved to 8-2 overall and 5-0 at home, had six players in double figures and was led by Faith Fedd-Robinson with 16 points.

Also for the Rockets, Kendall Carruthers, Sammi Mikonowicz (Rossford High School), and Khera Goss each chipped in 13 points. Jessica Cook scored 10 points and added nine rebounds, while Ella Weaver had 10 points as well.
Toledo freshman guard Kendall Braden out of Toledo Christian saw her most significant action of the season, playing 23 minutes. She scored eight points on 3-of-10 shooting and grabbed three rebounds with one assist and a steal.
Oddly enough, it was Defiance that produced the game’s leading scorer, with Chandler Duncan notching 17 points for the Yellow Jackets.
Toledo opens Mid-American Conference play against Northern Illinois at 4 p.m. Wednesday back at Savage Arena.
