Javan Simmons and Seth Hubbard are entering the transfer portal.
Simmons, a 6-foot-7 redshirt sophomore forward, averaged 12.5 points on 57 percent shooting with 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists for the Rockets this season. He was the Mid-American Conference freshman of the year in 2023-24.

Hubbard, a Western Michigan transfer, came to Toledo with considerable fanfare as the MAC’s leading returning scorer. But he was a disappointment in his one season for the Rockets, averaging 8.4 points on a woeful 18 percent 3-point shooting.

Simmons and Hubbard are the first two UT players to enter the transfer portal this offseason in what’s expected to be a massive roster overhaul for the Rockets.
