Sam Lewis is the latest University of Toledo men’s basketball player to enter the transfer portal.

The second-team All-Mid-American Conference selection announced his intentions to the UT coaching staff and will officially be in the portal on Monday.

Lewis started all 33 games in 2024-25, averaging a team-high 16.2 points per game. He shot 47.0 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from 3-point range with 4.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.3 turnovers.

The 6-foot-6 Chicago native will be one of the most coveted MAC transfers on the market and projects as a power conference player.
