Toledo men's basketball loses two more to transfer portal

The University of Toledo men’s basketball team now has seven players looking at potential transfers as Bryce Ford and Grgur Brcic entered their names into the transfer portal Monday.

Ford, a sophomore guard for the 2024-25 team that finished 18-15 and reached the Mid-American Conference semifinals, averaged 7.8 points per game in 21.8 minutes. He started the final 20 games of the season and shot 37.2 percent from 3-point range, the second-best mark on the team.

Brcic, a sophomore from Croatia, averaged nine minutes in 26 games this season. He averaged 2.5 points and 2.2 rebounds.

Ford and Brcic join Ka’leel Stillman, Xavier Thomas, Sam Lewis, Javan Simmons, and Seth Hubbard as members of the 2024-25 Rockets who have entered the portal.
