The Toledo Walleye have agreed to terms with defenseman Riley McCourt, the team announced Monday.

McCourt appeared in 53 games with the Newfoundland Growlers during the 2021-22 season and tallied 33 points (12 goals, 21 assists).

The 22-year-old defenseman also added two assists in six playoff games for Newfoundland last season. He has yet to play this season.

McCourt debuted professionally during the 2020-21 season, playing in eight games with the Toronto Marlies in the AHL and 13 games with Wichita in the ECHL.
