KALAMAZOO — A busy weekend for the Toledo Walleye ended with a thud Sunday as the team lost 5-0 to the Kalamazoo Wings, ending a six-game win streak.
After gutting out an overtime win at Cincinnati on Friday and a shootout victory in Kalamazoo on Saturday, the Walleye were unable to make it three road wins in as many days. Toledo out-shot the Wings 44-28, but the hosts dominated the scoreboard.
